A tale of two book orders.

As you may have figured out, I make art from secondhand books. Last year, I ordered a copy of The Satanic Verses from used bookseller owlsbooks through Amazon for a university project. After 3 months, I ordered it from someone else, as it hadn’t arrived. It turned up the week I was assessed. Apparently someone thinks Austria and Australia are the same place.

A couple of weeks ago, I ordered several different (but specific) copies of A Tale of Two Cities for another project that I need to finish by mid-July. I almost didn’t order this one from owlsbooks, but I thought I’d give them another chance.

I should’ve followed my gut, because they charged $18+ shipping to send me this instead…

Thanks guys. Well fucking done.
